Responsibility sometimes consists of making difficult decisions. But how do you make the right choices? Jelle van Baardewijk offers a valuable reflection on today’s society. We are all responsible for our own lives. We want to be healthy, but we also want to enjoy. We want to do our job well, but also spend time with our family. What if you can’t have it all at the same time? In this lecture, Jelle explains how ethics works and why ethics is mainly about saying ‘no’.

Jelle is a lecturer in business ethics at the Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences. He is a philosopher affiliated with the Department of Public Administration and Political Science at VU University Amsterdam.
